General information and cancellations
Smoking: Smoking is prohibited at all times inside the mansion, which is equipped with smoke detectors that alert the fire department. Smoking is allowed outside only in designated smoking areas.
Pets: Small, crate-trained dogs are welcome with a refundable damage deposit and Guest's agreement in writing to keep the dog crated at night. Dogs are not allowed on the beds or other furniture of the mansion, and must stay with the owner at all times. Dogs must be walked on-leash for exercise and elimination. Owner is responsible for collection and proper disposal of waste.
Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is 4:00pm or later. Please call in advance of your arrival to make check-in arrangements. Requests for early check-in will be accommodated when possible. Check-in before 3:00pm incurs $15 surcharge. Very late check-in (after 9:30pm) must be arranged in advance, and incurs $25 surcharge.
Check-out is 11:00am. Requests for late check-out will be accommodated when possible. Check-out after 12:00noon incurs $15 surcharge.
Full payment including applicable tax is required to confirm your reservation.
If a reservation is cancelled more than 7 days in advance of the date of arrival, the customer can choose to reschedule the reservation for an alternate date with no charges or penalties, or to receive a refund less 15% service charge. If a reservation is cancelled within 7 days of the date of arrival, we cannot offer a cash refund, but we will reschedule the reservation for an alternate date with no charges or penalties. Rescheduling a reservation in either case is subject to room availability.
2017 Solar Eclipse Cancellation Policy
During the period August 18 through August 22, 2017, all of my rooms are sold out. Reservations for one or more nights during that period cancelled prior to August 1, 2017 will be handled according to the standard cancellation/refund policy stated above. Reservations for that period are NON-REFUNDABLE after August 1, 2017. Cancelled reservations for that period will be rescheduled on request, with a 15% re-booking charge.
An advance deposit is due to confirm the event date. Payment for food and beverages, plus tax and gratuity, is due at the conclusion of the event. Per-person charges for food and beverages are assessed based on the confirmed number of guests or the number who attend, whichever is larger.
Payment of the deposit required to confirm an event date indicates acceptance of our event policies. We try to ensure that every event is successful and runs smoothly by planning ahead to have food preparation, supplies, linens, and staffing ordered in advance. Last-minute changes can be difficult and sometimes impossible to accommodate, but we will make every effort to incorporate requested changes to the accepted proposal. Changes within 5 calendar days of the event will incur a surcharge equal to 50% of any additional charges or $100, whichever is greater. We appreciate your understanding and partnership in the planning process.
